The Dominican Republic

Welcome to the Dominican Republic. I'm going to tell you about the DR. There is only one rule in the DR and that is there are no rules. I love that because then I do not have to wear a seat belt. There are no stop lights in the DR.


Everywhere you look there is either a banana tree, a mango tree or a papaya tree. It is amazing that a papaya tree can produce this amazing tasting fruit. These are the major crops they grow: coffee, tobacco, cocoa (for chocolate) and sugar cane.


The DR was discouvered by Christopher Columbus in 1492. Whne he went ashore he ran into Taiano Indians.

Every one speaks spanish.

Anyway, the DR rocks.
